About AID, Inc.

Together we can make a difference.

AID, Inc. is a non-profit organization serving Morton and Burleigh Counties in North Dakota. Our goal is to provide temporary, emergency assistance to help families and individuals stay in their homes and become self-sufficient.

Established in 1983, AID, Inc., helps with current month’s or past-due rent and utilities, provides food for hungry families, assists with transportation needs for medical appointments or those seeking employment, limited medical or dental, prescription services (not on-going or narcotics) CNA class fees and scrubs, provides laundry vouchers and identification services, eye exams and eye glasses, gently used household items through our Thrift Shop and helps with many other unmet needs.

Individuals and families seeking assistance go through an interview process to determine eligibility.

“Lending a hand to those that help themselves.”

We consider all requests although we are not always able to assist. We also operate a Food Pantry. Food is received through the Great Plains Food Bank and the Great Plains Recovery program, as well as through local food drives. We pass along over-abundance of products, produce, bakery, etc. to area churches, soup kitchens, agencies, day cares and our shoppers and clients. We strive to honor our mission daily.
